Hatch Mott MacDonald is seeking highly qualifed Rail and Transit leaders,
with an outstanding reputation in the US marketplace to lead the continuing
growth of our industry leading Rail/Transit practice for our East and West Units.
The practice portfolio includes a wide span of expertise in rail systems and
infrastructure, including planning, design, design-build, construction support
and management, condition and safety inspections and program management.
The individuals have the opportunity to help develop and implement a strategic effort that will enhance the current
vision to position HMM for continued success now and in the future. HMM's goals are to increase our market share
especially in the growing freight business, enhance current service offerings, build and expand the current client
base, and be a leader in providing solutions. Demonstrated client relationship building is a must.
Location: Any principal US HMM offce.
• Approximately 20 Years of increasing responsibilities within the rail transit or railway industries; preferably in
engineering, program management or construction.
• A minimum of 5 Years of senior responsibility in a major Project Management, Program Management, or similar
Rail Practice role, with multiple clients in the designated region.
• Ideally a Professional Engineer…multi-state designations preferred.
• Active in industry organizations…AREMA, APTA, TRB, or RSSI.
• Demonstrated experience in a leadership role with responsibility for developing and implementing effective
business development programs, strategic plans, skill development programs, and staff mentoring.
• Demonstrated capability to recruit qualifed known staff is also an essential attribute
